A dumpster is located in the parking lot to the left of the building for your use. All trash must be in closed trash bags; no loose items may be put in the dumpster. You do not need to use the blue City of Portland trash bags. If you leave any household trash and/or large items in or around the building, or outside the dumpster, you will be charged for removal and disposal. Please use the recycling totes for single sort recyclables. You can find the City of Portland’s recycling guide here: http://www.ecomaine.org/recycling-and-waste-disposal/single-sort-guide/.
Card-op laundry machines are located in the basement of the building (access through the front or courtyard-side door of the 288 side). To ensure minimal disruptions to your neighbors, we require that you refrain from using the laundry facilities before 8 am and after 8 pm.
No off-street parking. For further information about on-street parking and City of Portland parking bans, please contact the City of Portland, or visit their website. Parking in the driveway is strictly prohibited! If you park in the driveway, your vehicle will very likely be towed at your own expense.
To use the doorbell/buzzer you need to have a telephone; it can be a landline or cell. Once you’ve established your telephone number, call the maintenance line (207-761-0832, ext. 1) and leave your address, telephone number and the reason for your call, and we’ll input you in the system. Once you’re in the system, when a guest pushes your apartment number, your telephone will ring. After you answer the call (if you want to buzz them in), push 6 on your telephone keypad and it will buzz open the door.
