Trash
Trash receptacles are located in the rear of the building. You do not need to use the blue City of Portland trash bags. All trash must be in closed trash bags, which must be placed inside of the barrels provided, and the lid to the barrels must be closed. If all of the barrels are all full, please notify the office immediately. If you leave any household trash and/or large items in or around the building, you will be charged for removal and disposal. Please use the recycling totes, located on the property, for single sort recyclables. You can find the City of Portland’s recycling guide here: http://www.ecomaine.org/recycling-and-waste-disposal/single-sort-guide/.
Laundry
Coin-op laundry machines are located in the laundry room, located in the back stairwell between the first and second floors. To ensure minimal disruptions to your neighbors, we require that you refrain from using the laundry facilities before 8 am and after 8 pm.
Parking
No off-street parking. For further information about on-street parking and City of Portland parking bans, please contact the City of Portland, or visit their website. Parking in the back lot or driveway is strictly prohibited!
Door Bell/Buzzer:
To use the doorbell/buzzer you need to have a telephone; it can be a landline or cell. Once you’ve established your telephone number, call the maintenance line (207) 699-2216 and leave your address, telephone number and the reason for your call, and we’ll input you in the system. Once you’re in the system, when a guest pushes your apartment number, your telephone will ring. After you answer the call (if you want to buzz them in), push 6 on your telephone keypad and it will buzz open the door.
Mail:
Mailboxes are located on the second floor (select Floor 1 if you are in the elevator).
Utilities & Services
For electricity, please contact Central Maine Power (CMP) at 1-800-750-4000. If any utility, Internet, cable, phone, etc. company needs access to a secured area of the building, please call our Non-Emergency Maintenance Line at (207) 699-2216 at least 24 hours in advance. Leave your name, your new address, and the connection date. Please do not schedule any utilities to be turned on during the weekend or after hours if you need PPM for access or assistance.
